Photo compression guide
Save in three steps
- Choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP image.
- Start at 80% quality, choose JPG or WebP, and press Compress photo.
- Compare the size and preview, then download. If text or faces look blurry, increase quality and try again.
JPG or WebP?
JPG is widely supported for sharing photos and replaces transparent areas with white. Choose WebP to preserve transparency, and check that your destination service accepts it.
Why a file might get larger
An optimized JPG may become larger when saved again. Try lower quality or compare WebP. Choose quality that suits your purpose rather than the smallest possible file.
Current limits
Images must be no larger than 30 MB, 24 megapixels, and 12,000 pixels per side. Animated WebP becomes a still image. Camera metadata may be removed. Keep your original separately.
Skin smoothing and small-area removal
Use Retouch & erase to paint skin areas or remove small watermarks on simple backgrounds. It uses manual selection, not automatic face detection. Working images are limited to 2,048 pixels on the longest side.
My video → audio
My video → audio converts local files or direct video URLs with cross-origin permission to MP3 or M4A. YouTube and social media pages are not supported. The engine downloads from jsDelivr CDN; URL mode connects to the video host. These hosts receive connection information such as your IP address. Local files are not uploaded.
YouTube → MP3: YouTube link extraction is available separately on the audio page. Videos are limited to 5 minutes and the entire site to 3 requests per day. Service pauses when free credits are insufficient.
Video downloads & insights
Open Video downloads & insights, then select a platform and task. Download video or audio, export transcripts and SRT captions, summarize videos, and view public statistics or comments. Search and channel lists vary by platform. Save results as text or JSON. These tools use an external service and free credits, sharing a site-wide limit of 3 requests per day with YouTube extraction.
